Luis Seabra decided to venture out on his own after ten years of making wine at Niepoort, determined to break stereotypical ideas of Douro Valley wines. ‘Mono C’ is fermented 100% whole cluster with indigenous yeasts and is stomped by foot. After 17 months of aging in French oak, the wine is bottled and ready for release. Juicy and food-friendly, the wine pairs perfectly with pizza, pasta, and red meats.
