Silky and aromatic Mencia/Grenache blend from northwestern Spain’s prized appellation, Ribeira Sacra. Produced from from organically farmed fruit grown on granitic soils, influenced by salty Atlantic breezes. 2015 started out rainy and wet, followed by a dry summer; fermentation took place in used French oak, followed by nine months aging on the lees. The final wine is fresh yet rustic, with floral undertones and well-integrated tannins.
