Franck Balthazar Cornas 'Sans Soufre' 2016

Founded in 1931 by Franck’s grandfather, the Balthazar family estate began bottling wines under their own name in 1980, expanding to 3.5 hectares of vines just over ten years ago. Parcels are fermented separately and a traditional mentality is maintained throughout the vineyards and cellar, where stems are included and aging is done in demi-muids. ‘Sans Soufre’ is fresh and fruit-forward, with notes of red berries, rocks, and spice.
