Rudi Pichler Riesling 'Terrassen' Smaragd Wachau 2015

Rudi Pichler’s family has tended vines in the Wachau since 1731, dominated by Gruner Veltliner and Riesling. Rudi took over in 1997, farming the family’s 15 hectares of south-facing terraced vines with a ‘wine caretaker, not winemaker’ philosophy, creating pure, energetic wines. ‘Terrassen’ is bone dry and fresh, with lightning-like acidity and notes of wet stone, citrus, and apricot.
