Martin Mittelbach is the fifth-generation of his family to run the Tegernseerhof estate, which dates back over 1,000 years in age. Progressive winemaking meets antiquity, with dry, steel-aged bottles dominating production. ‘Kellerberg’ is one of the greatest vineyard sites in Wachau, creating high acid, mineral-driven bottles. The 2016 show flavors of yellow apple, white stone fruit, and herbal tea, balanced by salty, lemon-lime like acidity.
