Rudi Pichler’s family has tended vines in the Wachau since 1731, dominated by Gruner Veltliner and Riesling. Rudi took over in 1997, farming the family’s 15 hectares of south-facing terraced vines with a ‘wine caretaker, not winemaker’ philosophy, creating pure, energetic wines. ‘Terrassen’ is a delicious grüner veltliner that's both juicy and beautifully balanced.
