Named for France’s nationwide permit allowing cafés to serve alcohol, Licence IV was founded by Gregory Castells, President of Martine’s Wines, with the purpose of bringing people together around a simple glass of wine. The 2018 rosé is made from hand-harvested Grenache (80%) and Merlot (20%), aged six months in steel, showing classic Provencal flavors of watermelon, grapefruit, and strawberry, leading to a saline-tinged finish. Zesty and fresh!
