‘Grand Clos Epenots’ is one of four Premier Cru wine growing areas in Pommard and is owned exclusively by Domaine de Courcel. The monopole is comprised of 4.89 hectares and provides fruit for nearly 50% of the estate’s total production. The 2006 vintage is showing beautifully, brimming with meaty tertiary notes of earth, mushroom, and stewed red fruits. Delicate aromatics and robust structure assure the wine will continue to age gracefully!
