Founded in 1830, Domaine Michel Gros was one of the first estates to bottle and sell wines under their own name in Vosne-Romanée. The family has owned the entire monopole of Clos de Réas since 1860, though their holdings today now extend 23 hectares across the Côte de Nuits. Fruit for ‘Clos Réas’ comes from a 2.12 hectare plot situated on the border of Vosne-Romanée and Nuits-Saint-Georges. The wine is concentrated and textured, marked by spicy and earth-driven flavors of tangy cranberry, sweet black cherry, sandalwood, and potting soil.
