Gerard Boulay Sancerre 'Comtesse' 2016

Boulay’s family estate comprises nine hectares in the heart of Chavignol, with family history dating back to the 14th century. Vines are worked manually and have been farmed organically since 1990. Fruit for ‘Comtesse’ comes from 50-75 year old vines, located on the highly sought-after Mont Damnés vineyard. Powerful and clean, with citrus-driven aromatics and persistent minerality.
