Chateau Rayas Chateauneuf-du-Pape Reserve 2005

Synonymous with Rhone royalty, Chateau Rayas has been dominating the rare sandy soils of Chateauneuf-du-Pape since the late 19th century. Rayas’ Grenache produce some of the most exotic, floral-driven expressions in all of the Southern Rhone. The 2005 Reserve is intensely aromatic, with notes of raspberries, smoke, and garrigue carrying over to a full-bodied palate of soft dark fruit, pepper, and truffles. A supreme vintage!
