Comando G Tierra de Castilla y Leon 'El Tamboril' 2015

Self-proclaimed ‘Garnachistas,’ Comando G focuses on single-vineyard Grenache, hailing from rugged, mountain top vineyards across Gredos. ‘El Tamboril’ is a blend of organic and biodynamic Garnacha Gris + Garnacha Blanca, from 60+ year old vines rooted in sandy granite soils. Fruit is whole cluster pressed and vinified in large oak barrels; rich & round, balanced by zippy acidity and firm structure. Delicious with savory chicken or dishes.
