Denis Mortet’s Lavaux-based plots span 1.2 hectares from the Combe de Lavaux to Clos Saint-Jacques. This crunchy, mineral-driven red is loaded with textured flavors of red cherries, cranberries, rain-soaked earth, crushed rocks, and violets. 30-40% stems are used during the vinification process, which is executed in 75% new oak (aging). Powdery tannins and bright acid lead to a ripe and aromatic finish.
