Founded by Hardy Wallace and Matt Richardson, Dirty & Rowdy’s mission is to create ‘untinkered with wines,’ mainly from Mourvedre and Chardonnay. Vineyards are scattered all over California, with no recipes or additions used in vinification, and work done by hands and feet. ‘Unfamiliar’ is a Mourvedre dominant blend, rounded out with Syrah and Grenache; juicy, low-tannin, and super easy to drink. A true porch pounder!
