Stella di Campalto Rosso di Montalcino 2013

Formerly Podere San Giuseppe, Stella di Campalto was established in 1910, revived in 1992 post World Wars. Located in the southeast portion of Montalcino, the estate’s 5.5 hectares of vines are farmed all organically, with biodynamic principles implemented. The ‘Rosso’ is released nearly one year later than the appellation designates, giving the wine added structure and complexity. Juicy & balanced, with notes of red fruit, herbs, and tobacco.
