Vajra Barolo 'Bricco Delle Viole' 2014

Founded in 1972, Milena and Aldo Vajra created their namesake estate to bottle juice formerly sold to negociants for the first time in 1978. Today, the estate comprises 40 hectares of fruit, macerated for 20-30 days and aged in Slavonian casks. The 2014 ‘Bricco delle Viole’ is a silky and well-balanced Barolo, oozing with notes of cherries, dried flowers, and rose petals, noted with delicate spice and fine-grained tannins. Will age through 2040.
