Alzinger Riesling 'Loibenberg' Smaragd Wachau 2021

Alzinger’s 11 hectares of vines span some of Austria’s greatest growing sites, including Steinertal and Loibenberg. All of the estate’s fruit is whole-cluster crushed and sees short macerations, creating elegant wines of pristine quality. ‘Loibenberg’ Riesling is tropical and zesty, showing notes of lemon, passion fruit, green apple, and guava. Energetic acidity creates a viviacions, electrifying finish. ‘Loibenberg’ and its ample amounts of energetic acidity make it a perfect accompaniment with a variety of foods, including fried meats, sausage, and spicy takeout favorites.
