Lauer Riesling Sekt Brut Saar 2014

Unlike neighboring wineries focused on sweeter styles of wine, Lauer has become synonymous with precise, bone dry bottles of Riesling from some of the Saar’s best vineyard sites, producing bright, energetic, and mineral-driven bottles. The 2014 Sekt Brut shows intense floral notes noted with gun smoke, carrying over to a delicately effervescent palate of juicy pear, white flowers, & minerals. Bright acidity gives way to a long, lingering finish.
