Headed by Madame Lalou Bize-Leroy, perhaps the region’s most important and unrelenting name, Maison Leroy’s history begins back in 1868, when her grandfather, Francois Leroy, founded the négociant business in Auxey-Duresses. Lalou took over in 1971, bringing meticulous perfection and taste to the family business. The 2010 is silky and smooth, with notes of dark cherry, wet earth, and stony minerality. A treat!
