Antoine Foucault, son and nephew of famed (former) Clos Rougeard owners, established Domaine du Collier alongside Caroline Boireau 20 years ago, farming 6.5 hectares of vines organically and biodynamically. Fruit is hand-harvested and fermented with native yeast. The 2013 Saumur Blanc is classically refreshing, full of lively stone fruit and apple flavors, noted with zesty, elegant minerality; lifted, bright, and versatile on the table!
