Kuenhof Eisacktaler Sylvaner Sudtirol 2017

Known for their high-quality white wine production, Kuenhof tends their stony, Sudtirol based vineyards organically, allowing the unique terroir of Alto Adige to shine through each cuvée. Fruit comes from high-elevation sites and all must is spontaneously fermented. The 2017 Sylvaner shows notes of smoky white flowers, salty pear, and white pepper, giving way to a stony finish, noted with crisp green apple and herbal notes. Highly underrated!
