Walter Massa is credited for reviving the Timorasso grape in the early 80s, a unique variety native to the Colli Tortonesi, characterized by high sugar, thick skins, and high acidity. Fruit for the 2016 ‘Derthona’ is hand-harvested and fermented in steel, aged in both steel and concrete.
