Headed by Madame Lalou Bize-Leroy, perhaps the region’s most important name, Maison Leroy’s history begins back in 1868, when Francois Leroy, founded the négociant business in Auxey-Duresses. Lalou took over in 1971, bringing meticulous perfection and taste to the family business. The 2015 Bourgogne Rouge is silky and aromatic, with notes of tart red berries, flinty minerality, and earthy mushroom notes; pairs perfectly with roasted chicken.
