Matthiasson GSM 'Helen's Gate' Rutherford 2017

Owned by Steve and Jill Matthiasson, this namesake winery produces wines across Napa and Sonoma counties, with a focus on both traditional and experimental varieties. ‘Helen’s Gate’ GSM blend is comprised of equal parts (approx.) of the three grapes, vinified 50% whole cluster and fermented with native yeasts, bottled without sulfur and unfiltered. Notes of tart plums, ripe blueberries, and black pepper dominate this deliciously balanced wine.
