Ilatium Morini Amarone della Valpolicella 'Campo Leon' 2013

Ilatium Morini is located in the eastern part of the Valpolicella appellation and is comprised of 40 hectares of vines. The winery is owned by seven brothers/cousins who, after choosing to stop selling their fruit to the local Cantina Sociale in 2004, use their grapes to produce fresh and easy-drinking wines. This full-bodied Amarone shows spicy flavors of dark cherries, red currants, and tobacco, marked by a lingering finish and zesty acidity.
