Founded by longtime friends Eric Railsback and Justin Willett, Lieu Dit seeks to highlight the unique microclimates and soils of Santa Barbara, focusing on grape varieties of the Loire Valley. ‘Grassini’ is a combination of tank and barrel ferments, aged in neutral oak; the 2014 is racy and bright, full of citrus, white flower, and herbaceous notes.
