Founded by longtime friends Eric Railsback and Justin Willett, Lieu Dit seeks to highlight the unique microclimates and soils of Santa Barbara, focusing on Loire Valley grape varieties. The 2017 Sauvignon Blanc is fermented in both steel and barrel, followed by aging in neutral oak, giving way to a zesty and thirst-quenching wine, full of citrus fruit, chalk, pear, and white flower flavors.
