Founded in 1850, Domaine Louis Michel is located in the heart of Chablis, owned and operated by sixth-generation Guillaume Gicqueau-Michel. The estate’s 25 hectares are spread across an array of appellations, producing fruit destined for vinifications without batonnage or oak use. The 2017 ‘Butteaux’ shows classic Chablis characteristics of zesty citrus, wet rocks, and chalk, noted with lemon-like minerality and a ripe, thirst-quenching finish.
