Founded in 1850, Domaine Louis Michel is now owned and operated by sixth-generation Guillaume Gicqueau-Michel, who farms the winery’s 25 hectares across an array of appellations. Wines are produced without batonnage or oak usage. The 2017 ‘Montmains’ is steely and refreshing, showing notes of tart lemon, green apple, white flowers, bitter almond, and sea salt.
