Founded by longtime friends Eric Railsback and Justin Willett, Lieu Dit seeks to highlight the unique microclimates and soils of Santa Barbara, focusing on Loire Valley grape varieties. The 2018 Cabernet Franc is whole-cluster fermented and aged in a combination of tank and barrel. The wine shows notes of juicy red fruit, black cherries, lavender, earth spice, and pepper.
