Azores Wine Co Pico 'Arinto Dos Acores Sur Lies' 2018

Azores Wine Co. was founded by António Maçanita, Filipe Rocha, and Paulo Machado back in 2014, with the goal of reviving forgotten inditigenous varieties while also shedding light on the impeccable growing sites on Pico island. This rocky and saline-tinged Arinto is fermented and steel and lees-aged in barrel, leading to a textured wine noted with flavors of citrus, minerals, and sea salt. A perfect match for briny oysters!
