Chateau d'Issan Margaux 2016

This medium-bodied Left Bank classic comes to us from one of the Médoc's oldest wineries. Made from 64/36 Cabernet and Merlot, this full-bodied stunner shows floral-driven flavors of black currants, overripe cherries, chocolate, mint, and cigar box. Firm tannins and bright acidity lead to a grainy, savory finish. We'd give this bottle another five years to unfold.
