Family-owned since the 14th century, the Barrot family tends 12.5 hectares of vines across Chateauneuf-du-Pape, highlighting the region’s unique variation of soils; Julien Barrot joined his father 16 years ago, moving the estate to 100% organic farming, as well as initiating separate parcel vinification. ‘Pure’ comes from century old Grenache vines, giving way to a concentrated, full-bodied cuvée, full of sappy currant and herb flavors.
