Native to the Basque Country, Alberto Nanclares moved to the seaside village of Castrelo with his wife in 1992, creating a small winery out of his garage. Today, Nanclares creates some of the most age-worthy, saline-tinged wines in all of Galicia, with vines cultivated organically. The 2016 ‘A Grana’ is acid-driven and lemon noted, with stony minerality and a bright finish. Delicious with salty seafood, tacos, and salads.
