Anne Sophie Dubois Fleurie 'l'Alchimiste' 2016

Champagne native Anne-Sophie Dubois is shaking up the viticultural scene in Beaujolais, alongside a young group of fellow winemakers. After studying in Burgundy, Dubois farms her eight hectares in Fleurie all organically, using a hands-off approach in the winery and favoring classic vinification over Beaujolais-style carbonic. Her 2016 ‘l’Alchimiste’ oozes with dark berries and minerality, full of elegance and structure.
