Anne Sophie Dubois Fleurie 'l'Alchimiste' 2017

Champagne native Anne-Sophie Dubois is shaking up the viticultural scene in Beaujolais, alongside a young group of fellow winemakers. Dubois farms her eight hectares in Fleurie all organically, using a hands-off approach in the winery and favoring classic vinification over Beaujolais-style carbonic. Her 2017 ‘l’Alchimiste’ shows flavors of dark and red fruits, wet stones, and herbs, with a distinct minerality creating a serious sense of place.
