Bedrock Syrah 'Bien Nacido' Santa Maria 2020

We love the origin story over at Bedrock. Founded in 2007 by Morgan Twain-Peterson, Bedrock started as a converted chicken coop in a friend's backyard (no lie!). After a few years the winery grew into its current tin warehouse home and gained Chris Cottrell as a partner. As far as New World vineyards go, its a challenge to find one of more esteem than Bien Nacido Vineyard, and the Bedrock team says that this wine is one of the best they make. You get that floral violet with notes of cured meat and tons of garrigue herb. The Bedrock guys call this "primordial Syrah essence."
