Benito Santos Rías Baixas Albariño 'Xoan' 2014

Benito Santos was a longstanding pioneer of Albarino in the Rias Baixas DO, beginning vineyard work alongside his grandfather back in the 1930s. Today, the estate is operated by three successors, who produce clean and honest wines with the same passion and terroir-reflection, just as Santos would have wanted. The 2014 ‘Xoan’ comes from 90-year-old vines, giving way to a concentrated, textured wine full of poppy acidity and salty minerality.
