Cascina Fontana Barolo 2018

Mario Fontana first made this Castiglione Falletto based Barolo back in 2013 to pay homage to his family, history, and Piemontese origins. This wine is fuller and grittier than his other Nebbiolo-based wines, making it perfect for pairing with robust dishes or laying down in the cellar. This Barolo is aromatic, well-balanced Nebbiolo that is floral and fruit-forward, with notes of earthy spice and tar. Lay down for a few years to truly let secondary characteristics unfold. We seriously recommend adding this bottle to your cellar.
