Founded in 1956, Chateau Tour Bayard is situated on Bordeaux’s Right Bank, comprised of ten hectares of 40 year old vines, rooted into clay/limestone soils. Organic methods and natural composts are used, bringing purity and terroir-reflection into the wine. The 2010 ‘L’Angelot’ is a Malbec dominant blend, vinified in new barrel and aged in barrique; full-bodied and dark fruited, with gritty tannins and notes of oak spice. 2500 bottles produced.
