Chateau Yvonne was first founded by monks in the 1500s, resuscitated to life by Jean-Francois and Yvonne Lamunière 500 years later. Just over a decade ago, Matthieu Vallée took over operations at this renowned chateau farms the estate’s 11 hectares, and continues to farm organically and biodynamically, with the same hands off-mentality implemented in the cellar as his predecessors. 'L'ile Quatre Sous' is an approachable, entry-level Cabernet Franc from this top-notch estate.
