Clos de l'Elu VdF Pineau d'Aunis 'Esperance' 2016

Clos de l’Elu’s 30 plots span over 22 hectares of vines, located on the gentle, southern-exposed slopes of the Loire. The estate focuses on classic Loire varieties, farmed using biodynamic principles, hand-harvested, & spontaneously fermented. The 2016 ‘Esperance’ is a juicy and fruit-forward varietal Pineau d’Aunis, farmed organically and whole cluster fermented. Flavors of tart cherry & peppery acidity dominate, giving way to a zesty finish.
