Clusel-Roch Cote-Rotie 'Vialliere' 2016

Headed by Gilbert and Brigit Clusel, this Cote-Rotie estate’s 3.5 hectares lay across the region’s signature granitic slopes, with the original vineyard site planted in 1935 by Gilbert’s grandfather. Here, vines are dedicated to Serine, a low yielding clone of Syrah, farmed organically since the 1990s. ‘Vialliere’ comes from a small 1.5 hectare plot, aged up to 24 months in oak. Rich, savory, and supple, with notes of dark fruit and herbs.
