Comando G Vinos de Madrid 'Rozas 1er Cru' 2017

Self-proclaimed ‘Garnachistas,’ Comando G focuses on single-vineyard Grenache bottlings, coming from rugged, mountain top vineyards across the Sierra de Gredos. ‘Rozas 1er Cru’ is crafted from 50-60 year old vines grown at 900 meters above sea level, fermented with native yeasts and aged in French oak. The final wine bursts with flavors of ripe cherries and fleshy raspberries, marked by notes of violets; fresh, lengthy, and insanely age-worthy.
