Damien Laureau Savennieres 'Les Genets' 2014

Hailing from the northern edge of the Savennieres appellation, Damien Laureau hand harvests his Chenin from sandy, schist soils, aging the wine in both steel and oak for a year and half prior to market release. Rocky, mineral-driven, and crisp, green apple acidity make the wine delicious alongside sushi, fatty fish, and savory chicken dishes.
