This varietal Chardonnay comes from a one-hectare plot rooted in Kimmeridgian marl soils in Courgis, just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the town of Chablis. The juice vinifies in steel tanks, undergoes natural malo, and ages on its lees in used foudre/barrique. Slightly reductive notes of yellow fruit, smoke, lemon zest, and grilled nuts ooze from the wine’s rich yet balanced palate.
