Domaine Coche-Dury Corton Rouge Grand Cru 'Hospices de Beaune - Charlotte Dumay' 2017

This unique Grand Cru rouge from Coche-Dury is nothing short of breathtaking. Fruit comes from Les Renardes (63%) and Les Bressandes (37%) in Corton and is aged for 16 months on its fine lees. Bright and balanced flavors of red cherries, crushed violets, sweet spice, and earth dominate the wine’s textured and hauntingly aromatic palate. This bottle’s got some serious aging potential, so we’d hold out on popping this one for at least 5-10 years.
