One of the longtime natural producers of the Loire, Domaine de la Pepiere has been producing organically farmed, chemical-free wines in Muscadet since 1985. Wines are site specific and terroir driven, grown on granite-rich soils. ‘La Pepie’ ages extensively on its lees in underground tanks. Racy and mineral-driven, the wine’s rich lees character and fruit-forwardness make it a delicious aperitif-- and even better with oysters.
