Domaine de Villaine Bourgogne Rouge 'La Fortune' 2017

Aubert de Villaine (co-owner of world-renowned DRC) and his wife Pamela settled down in Bouzeron, located within Burgundy’s lesser known Cote Chalonnaise region. Their namesake domaine highlights the often underlooked single-vineyard terroirs of the Chalonnaise. Fruit for ‘La Fortune’ comes from younger vines, leading to easy-drinking wines meant to be consumed in their youth. Fresh, red-fruited, and balanced-- a delight!
