Domaine de Villaine Rully Blanc 1er Cru 'Les Cloux' 2018

Domaine de Villaine was founded in the 1970s by Aubert de Villaine, also general manager of Domaine de la Romanee Conti. This Bouzeron-based winery is under the same guard as DRC, but the wines come at a fraction of the cost and are from some of the most exciting appellations in the Côte Chalonnaise, including this sleep slope premier cru in Rully, one of the standout spots of the region. For many, this is the prime place to look for top-quality Bourgogne at prices that don't knock us over the head. We love this elegant and fresh sip with paté, poultry in cream sauce, or rich pasta. This one is 5-star!
